This introductory workshop will introduce hand embroidery techniques that can be applied in different ways such as embellishing your clothes, bags, shoes with hand crafted embroidered pins and patches. It is an ideal starting place for anyone new to embroidery and is interested in learning how to customize their very own designs! Once you possess the skills of different stitches with our step to step guide, you will be on your way to creating any image with embroidery!

No prior embroidery skills needed! Come join us and turn your favorite images of the dogs you love into embroidered art!

What you will learn: 

  • Introduction to materials

  • Basic introduction to illustration and embroidery

  • Learn how to transfer image

  • Transforming your finished product into patches/pins or decorative embroidery art

All materials provided: embroidery hoop, embroidery floss, needle & fabric.

About The Artist

Zoey Wong is a graduate from LASALLE Collage of the Arts, Masters of Art in Fine Arts. Formally trained in web design and communication design, the creation of her work centers on the elements of impermanence and temporality. Using illustrative embroidery as a medium, she uses different techniques to capture and preserve a moment, constructed or candid. She also conducts different embroidery workshops every other month.
